    linear regression std dev input

    Hi

I currently use a linear regression in esignal which allows me to input a value for standard deviations

however when i put the same value in the width param of ninjas regression channel indicator i get a different value...

is width different to standard deviations...?

is there an indicator which i can input the standard deviations...?

    thanks in advance

Hi sub5mango, in the Regression Channel indicator width would be expressed in Standard Deviations, so not sure where the differences you notice come from. Can you please post a picture for comparison? You may also consider changing the 'Period' input to adjust the channel.

Also: did you try the manually drawn regression channel?

        sub5mango,

If you look at the charts they have different data. Your bars are different. You may be pulling data from different data server farms from eSignal.
