For the next version of NT will the programming capability be there for users to create a version of this based on historical backfilled tick data? If this has not been addressed before, could this be considered?

I'm not 100% sure I follow you francesco, a historical tick backfill is possible if the connection supports it :

I just follow up searnp's suggestion, and see if there is any new way to use the indicators with historical data in new version of NT. As I see the suggestion was from 2009...
