Compiler Questions???

NT,

I have noticed that the more indicators I add to my NT application, the longer it takes to compile updates on indicators I may be working on.

I deliberately put an error into one indicator and saved it. I opened a second indicator and compiled it with no changes. NT responded with the error on the first indicator.

My question is "is NT compiling all the indicators every time I make a change on just one indicator"?

Isn't this a bit of overkill on NT's part???

Please clarify why NT does not have a seperate system compiler??

This is also making me think that all indicators might also be active all the time too.

Please let me know.

NT requires all NinjaScript to be error free. This is not overkill. It is the nature of the compiled assembly. It is just one file and as such needs to process all scripts. Indicators do not all run. They only run if called upon.

Am I understanding correctly that NT treats all indicators as just one file to be compiled?
