How to use Force Index in Futures charts?

Force Index as put together buy Josh or other versions of it, what is the best way to use it for Futures. For the intraday 1 min or 2 min charts, Force Index just hugs the zero line most of the time and spikes up or down every so often when there is a sharp one or two bars of high volume price movement. Those movements are too hard to catch anyway. What is your experience? Thanks.

Hi ju1234,
with all oscillators, I found it most helpful to look at signifcant divergences with some strong support / resistance level there to help, look at todays ES chart - clear divergence up at double bottom and less pressure on the last leg down (volume wise), just an idea...other people like to combine it with Market Profile areas, all based on volume, so pretty good.
