How to use custom plots to replace DrawRectangle or DrawRegion

Hey folks,

I have a number of indicators I've developed that have background coloring between areas. A few of these are used simultaneously, and Ninjatrader's performance really starts to suffer.

After seeing a comment from Harry on using custom plots rather than DrawRegion to improve performance, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction on how to do so.

Hello Newbie-NT-Scriptor,

That was my mistake, this would not be available for NT7. You can see the pivots indicator in NT7 for an example of custom rendering however there is no documentation for NT7 rendering.
