Hello cincai, thanks for your post.
You will need to edit the bar type from an external editor because bar types were not supported in NInjaTrader 7. I always open up the bar type from Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Type then open a random indicator and use that window to compile after I make changes.
