tick counter indicator

Is there a way to alter code in the Tick counter indicator so the " ticks remaining = 50" to just "50" show up on the charts?

I am not sure I understand what you are looking for, however your two options are available when you attach the indicator to the chart under parameter:
-count down or up
-show percent or not

i am choosing count down true ,i just want the tick count # to show on chart without the words.... tick remaining = ...to print

Hello,

First you should go to Tools>Edit>Indicator>TickCounter>OK>right click>Save As, and rename the indicator.

Then you will need to modify the indicator logic and remove some of the portions in quotes ("").

There is some logic based on the portions in the quotes.

Hello,

You will not lose the original indicator.

Look for the quotes of the items you want to eliminate, however it is not that simple since the indicator uses some logic based on what you are going to remove. You will have to play with and see what works.

Ben..so far so good ..eliminated the "ticks remaining =" ,however the # is not all the way to the right of chart,but is showing up where the "ticks remaining " was (in the middle of chart) .How do we move it to the right
