VolumeUpDown - Strategy Question

Since VolumeUpDown routine returns 2 values, 1 valid and one invalid, how do you know which value is the valid one????

Thank you for your post.

You could use IsValidDataPoint() to check whether the series in question contains a valid data point for that bar, since the Volume Up Down indicator resets the other series when it sets the valid one. Here's an example from our help guide of using IsValidDataPoint() to check that there is valid data for a bar:

That's my fault, I'm so used to most questions being for NinjaTrader 8 these days that I didn't check to see which forum this was in.

In NinjaTrader 7 the corresponding method would be ContainsValue:
