Rounding in Data Box
This question is about the rounding calculations that apply to the Data Box. When using an EMA on the Russell Future - the EMA is rounded to the tenth. (ex: 658.1). What rule do you use when rounding this calculation - (5up/4dn (ex: 658.14 is rounded down to 658.1 & 658.17 is rounded up to 658.2) or truncated (658.178 is rounded to 658.1). This applies to instruments that only have a single decimal I would like to automate my calculation and I use the value displayed in the Data Box for my rules. Thank youTags: None

Hi thepcmd !
When indicator is on panel 1 (panel with bars), then
the values of the indicator in the databox are rounded to the ticksize of the instrument. Russel future has ticksize 0.1 -> values are rounded to the first digit after the decimal point.
If indicator is on a panel > 1 (own indicator panel), there is an different rounding logic inplace, depending on the absolute value for the indicator. In case of a price level of 600 points, the values are rounded to 0.01.
Kind regards,
