    How to access Indicator name property

    Hi

    I have a debug file which I use everywhere - from UserDefinedMethods
    I would like to show what Indicator is producing the debug - how do I get the name.
    I am not an advanced programmer but I have some knowlege.
    Thanks

    Hello Mindset,

    Without more details it would be hard to say what you actually need here but the indicators name is specifically in its Name property:

    Code:
    Print(Name);
    If you have made a partial indicator class the above should be correct.

    If you have an instance to an indicator from your shared method, you would likely instead need to do:

    Code:
    myIndicator.Name
    I look forward to being of further assistance.
