BUG: can’t add in MarketAnalyzer

If an indicator is created in anything other than the NinjaTrader.NinjaScript.Indicators namespace, you can select it in the columns->indicator drop down, but the drop down does not select the indicator and you can’t change the properties (therefore you can’t add the indicator to the market analyzer)

That is correct. When adding an Indicator Column, only Indicators can be added. Further, only plots from an indicator extending the Indicator class can be used for the column input source.

Would you like to submit a feature request to be able to add Strategies and Addons?

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to post some images to illustrate: I'm not talking about non-indicators, I'm talking about indicators (that are derived from the NinjaScript.IndicatorBase) that use a different namespace (in our case SharkIndicators).

NT8 neatly tucks them away in a "folder" or pull out in this drop down (see screen shot). The problem is that when you select it, NT8 doesn't find the indicator (in this case anything under the SharkIndicators popout) and fails to switch the property grid over.

I am not able to reproduce this behavior using the latest version of NinjaTrader 8 (8.0.15.1). Below is a link to a video that demonstrates.

Using the same steps as shown in the video with a copy of the MACD are you getting different behavior?
