Multi-instrument indicator

Hi- I'm trying to create a custom indicator which requires the addition of yet another instrument (let's say AAPL for instance) for certain calculations. I'm wondering if I can just use the ADD statement in the initialization section of the indicator code where the close of this instrument (BIP1) is used for calculation purposes. I guess it would then become a multi-instrument indicator Is this possible with NT7?
