BarColor Parameter

I know I must be overlooking something. I change my barcolors based on conditions. That is working just fine. However, I would like to provide the capability to change the color via a parameter just like I do other things like the period of an indicator. Sounds simple enough so I created parameters for the barcolors the same way as every other parameter. The barcolor parameter works as I expected except when I save it as a template and then reload that template, those parameterized colors come back empty. Can't figure this out.

Why do they come back empty. I don't have this problem with any other parameter that I define, only the color parameters.

Do you initialize the parameter somewhere in your code, or is it undefined until you set it manually in the parameters window?

it is initialized in Initialize block.

just to rule out a potential problem, initialize it where you define it as well and see if that does anything.
