linq search for single value

All i need is get a single value from my list

i have this to organize my list in time

this.averagedHistogramList = this.averagedHistogramList.OrderBy(o => o.Time).ToList();


what I need is a double value from my list

in sql it would be

Select myValue from averageHistogramList where StoredTime == TimeToLookFor


I don't know how to search for a single value in linq

it will return a single value of double

This would fall under general C# and is not specific to NinjaScript.

I would recommend looking into a tutorial for linq.
