Bar Index for a period

I need to retrieve the bar indexes based on time. So, in other words, the period I'm looking at is 10 AM to 12 PM. I need to retrieve the bar index for the first bar that completes after 10 AM and the bar index for the last bar that completes just before 12 PM. How can I do that? Seems easy but I haven't been able to figure it out.

Disregard this for now....poorly framed question. I'll come back to this later.
