Exporting BarsType

I have a custom Renko Bars Type I created.

When I go to export ninjascript, this bar type is no in the list - that is expected.
But is there a way to work around this, add this custom bar type to my compiled assembly and distribute ?

Hello onnb1,

It is not possible to export a bar type using NinjaTrader 7 and must be created as a dll (or open source .cs) outside of NinjaTrader. (Since it cannot be exported using NinjaTrader 7, CliSecure cannot be applied)

This also means that this is not supported by NinjaTrader Support.
However, this thread will remain open for any community members that would like to assist.

NinjaTrader 8, supports custom bar types and these can be exported with Agile.NET applied.

Custom BarsTypes can be exported in NinjaTrader with a little maneuvering. The code must be moved to the Indicators or Strategies folder. Then it can be exported and imported to other instances of NinjaTrader 7.
