the close of a bar 80 periods ago

Hi guys,


Does anybody know of an indicator that will show the close of a bar 80 periods ago (a line like RSI for example, but just showing the 80 days ago bar’s close)?


I am using an indicator with an 80 day setting and I would like to be able to see the price of that day.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums!

A way that you can accomplish this on your chart would be to add a 1 period SMA (which by default would be the close of the bar) and enter a displacement of 80 which would have the effect of bringing forward the close price from 80 bars ago. The plot would continue off to the right beyond the current candle however the value of the SMA on the right edge bar will be the close price 80 bars ago.
