Is there a way to edit the default quantity for an ATM strategy from within the Ninjascript code?

Unfortunately, no, setting the quantity or adjusting the Atm before placing the order is not possible through code when using Atm Strategies.

If you would like, I am happy to submit a feature request for our development consider this for a future version of NinjaTrader.

I've submitted a feature request on your behalf to allow Atm Strategy quantities to be changed through code.

Once I have a tracking ID for this I will post in this thread for future reference.

In the meantime, using Entry/Exit orders with the managed approach or SubmitOrder() with the unmanaged approach would allow the user running the script or you the programmer to control the quantity used for the strategy.

I've received an ID for your request. For future reference your request to allow an Atm Strategy's quantity to be changed through NinjaScript is being tracked with ID #SFT-2090.

Please note, it is up to the NinjaTrader Development to decide if and when a feature request will be implemented.
