NT7: What events can TriggerCustomEvent() be used with?

Hello.

NT7 documentation contain very brief description of TriggerCustomEvent() method.
On forum I found one only suitable event generator: Timer object.

Are there other event generators?

There could be number of events that could be used for TriggerCustomEvent(). For example, a button press, or an interaction with the chart or window.
