I have an indicator that is no longer supported that has locked code, but would like to have converted to NT 8...can this be done? Also where can I find the old 6.5 indicators?Tags: None

Hello Gregory Arkadin,
Unfortunately no, you would need to be able to view the code, to know how to program the new indicator.
All scripts will need to be completely recreated for NinjaTrader 8.
I am not aware of any supported methods to deobfuscate an assembly.Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

So you would have to reprogram all the code?

Hello Gregory Arkadin,
That is correct. While the logic may be the same (or similar), there will be many code breaking changes from NinjaTrader 7 to NinjaTrader 8, including to the structure of the indicator itself. Its best to start a new script using the Strategy Builder, create as much as possible using the Builder, and then hand code any remaining code to finish the script.Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service
