Flash window bar

Hi,

I have started using alerts, but with multiple windows, it's difficult to get to them timely as you have to check the alert text, figure out which window it came from etc.

What I would like to do is have the indicator generating the alert flash the title bar of the window red, or something similar, so you can see exactly what chart the alert is from.

Anyone know of a way to do this?

Yes, I'm using this

Alert(DateTime.Now.Millisecond.ToString(), Cbi.Priority.Medium, "alert '@" + Close[0], Cbi.Core.InstallDir + @"\sounds\Alert4.wav", 0, Color.AliceBlue, Color.Black);

and also somtimes plotting a marker, but I want the chart window title bar to blink red for a second or 2, or the background flash so that I can easily see what window the alert came from. It's not so easy to tell when you have several and looking at the dedicated alerts window.

I am unaware of any code that would allow the title bar to flash. Looking in the Ninjatrader 7 indicator file sharing area there is an indicator that does flash the background that perhaps might give you a starting point for coding your own: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...hp?&linkid=440

I was not able to find what this link was to.

Unfortunately, this would not be supported for NinjaTrader 7 and I would not have any resources to suggest.
