One Condition for entry long or entry short?

I would like to have one condition. If it is true and the High of the bar is reached go long, and if the same condtion is true and the Low of the bar is hit go short.

I tried:

if (condition)
{
EnterLongStop(DefaultQuantity, High[0], "EntryLong");
}


if (same condition like above)
{
EnterShortStop(DefaultQuantity, Low[0], "EntryShort");
}


But this does not work. I get only long entries and no shorts?

Hello Ironman9973,

If both conditions are the same, the script will attempt to place both orders at the same time. One of these orders is going to be ignored.

Are you trying to place a both a buy stop order and sell stop order at the same time?

(This would violate the internal order handling rules of the managed approach. Instead the unmanaged approach would be necessary to place these opposing entry orders.)
