Simple Alert/Alarm For ADX

Looking to add an alarm to ADX so that when it starts to rise it trips an alert.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello Segwin,


You can do this using the Strategy Wizard.


The Strategy Wizard is a point and click approach for strategy description which is ideal for everyone from the non-programmer, novice programmer and advanced programmer.


The Strategy Wizard can be opened by left mouse clicking on the Tools menu within the NinjaTrader Control Center, selecting the menu item New NinjaScript and selecting the menu item Strategy. You could set your conditions in the Condition Builder and set entry actions in the Strategy Actions area.


In the condition builder, you would want to select the Rising method on the left side of the window. Then in the input series, you would need to select the indicator you would like. Next, use the "==" operator in the middle and on the right side of the condition builder, select the True option. Finally, any actions you want to take place when the ADX is rising can be configured in the actions area. Click add in the actions area to create an action.
