point and figure

is there a way i can identify if the current symbol is a X or a O in a backtest for point and figure chart
i am referring to identifying individual X or O not a column
is there any code for this ?

Thank you for your post.

You could check the open and compare it against the close of the prior bar.

For example:

if (Open[0] > Close[0])
{
EnterLong();
}
else if (Open[0] < Close[0])
{
EnterShort();
}
