    Custom Strategy not compiling.

    Thanks. It now compiles.

But now I don't see it in my list of Strategies. When I try to choose New Strategy.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the question.

Based only on this statement: copied over the Custom folder with the custom Strategy and DLLs.

I would say likely the References are no longer pointing to the correct directories, NinjaTrader uses the Username in the Paths it uses so if the Username or Version of windows changed this is likely the case.

Because you copied the entire folder over, I would likely suggest to email our platform support @ ninjatrader.com and we could walk through the processes to ensure all references are correct.

Otherwise if you would like to do this yourself, you would need to open a NinjaScript editor from Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator -> ADL.
    Right click in the script
    Select References
and then ensure all the files listed point to the actual file on the computer.

After making any changes, you need to right click in the script and select Compile to check for errors.

I look forward to being of further assistance.

        Hello,

Unfortunately I would be unable to say what the problem may be at this point if there are no errors.

For this, I would suggest emailing in to platform support @ ninjatrader.com to schedule a remote assistance call. We could review the NinjaScript items to check for problems and see why the items are not listed.

I look forward to being of further assistance.

          Thanks.

Found out that some of the DLLs were not in the Custom folder. Once I got them in, it worked.
