can i use ninjatrader C# methods and libraries out of ninjatrader?

lets say i am creating a strategy on visual studio C# can i still use ninjatrader class, methods and libraries by simply referencing them with the Using declarations
and connect directly to Interactive broker through C# API

There would not be any NinjaScript methods you could call outside of NinjaTrader. You can use the DLL functions in the NTDirect.dll. These are detailed at the following link: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG..._interface.htm

NinjaScript in NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 8 can both use third party libraries since NinjaScript is based on C#. Anything third party like this though would not be supported by our Platform Support Team.

There are still no NinjaScript methods that you can call outside of NinjaTrader.
