Finding Minimum Tick Size

Hello,

I am trying to develop an automated strategy and I am having trouble finding a function that will give the minimum tick size for a given market?

Basically am trying to calculate the following steps:

double buyTicks = 10; // default value on start up - OnStateChange()

double buyTicksChange = ....; // Variable that will change with OnBarUpdate()

double buyTicks = buyTicks + buyTicksChange; // Variable that will change with OnBarUpdate()

double bid = GetCurrentBid();

double entryPrice = bid - buyTicks; // **** How do I put buyTicks in the same units as the bid prices? For example entryPrice = bid - ( buyTicks * minimumTickSize ); but how do I find this minimumTickSize?

// Order entry

EnterLongLimit(entryPrice);

Utilizing TickSize will return the value of 1 tick for the instrument you are running your strategy. So, for the ES for example, this will return 0.25: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help.../?ticksize.htm
