Importing tick data - and Day bars

When I am importing tick data into NT7 (from Historical Data Manager), there is checkbox - that Day bars can be generated for these tick data.

My question is - what session template NT7 uses for creation of day bars when importing tick data?

I think, different Day bars would be created when different session templates are used.
I am curious how NT7 knows, what is the "Day" bar, when there is no setting for session template.

It uses the Session Template that was configured in the Tools-> Instrument Manager-> master instrument settings that are configured for that instrument.
