NinjaTrader.Client.dll usage

I have a standalone widows application I built that uses the NinjaTrader.Client.dll.
I have used it for quite a while on 2 different machines.
I am trying to get it to work on a new machine. The app is running but it refuses to connect to Ninja.

Since it has been quite a while since I ran it for the first time on a new machine, I am wondering if there is some step I have forgotten to take in NinjaTrader such as enable connections or something like that. Is there something that needs to be turned on in Ninja to allow connections through this dll?

If not, Can you point to any doc that would help me debug this refusal to connect?
