Does the Ninjatrader exit on close account for holiday market early close?

Example on July 3rd the market closes early for the 4th, will any open positions be closed if your strategy is set to close positions 30 seconds prior to close?

Thank you for your inquiry.

The ExitOnClose and ExitOnCloseSeconds properties are based on the session template of the instrument you are running the strategy on. As session templates do not keep track of holidays, the strategy would not close any earlier.

If you would like to close earlier on holidays you would have to code logic for your strategy to handle the holidays.
