When you try to optimize the DataSeries, it should show you all those parameters. Yes, you have to explicitly mark the option to optimize the DataSeries.

only value is possible to optimize. The offset and trend reversal are not possible to optimize at least in my script I have downloaded from NT8 forum.

There is actually a feature request currently for allowing custom bar types to optimize all available properties, this is request: SFT-1299

I will add a vote for you to this request. Currently it would be possible to optimize the sub properties of the custom bar types that are listed with the Min/Max/Increment.

Unfortunately not, there is a feature request pending but ultimately it would be up to development to decide if this would be implemented and at what time.

If it were to be implemented in a future release, you would see a note regarding the change in the change log in the help guide.
