Can this be programmed
I need to scan about 200 stocks a night to see which ones cycle five times in 6 months. These cycles should appear over 6-8 days and show a gain of 20% or more.

On the assumption that by "a cycle" you mean a "SwingHigh to SwingLow to SwingHigh" or the converse, then either of two shipping NinjaTrader Indicators can be used to program what you want. One would use either the Swing or ZigZag indicator class.Originally posted by cdnPATRIOT View PostI need to scan about 200 stocks a night to see which ones cycle five times in 6 months. These cycles should appear over 6-8 days and show a gain of 20% or more.

Hello cdnPATRIOT,
Thank you for your post.
While it is possible to set up scans for custom conditions over lists of instruments, you may run into limitations on how many instruments you can request data for at once for the data provider you are using.
You could potentially down load the data after the session close in smaller sets and then run calculations over the historical data while not connected to your data provider (in order to avoid re-requesting the data you have and getting messages on the limitations).
Are you looking for resources to begin coding in NinjaScript?
