Strategy name change

How can I change the name of a strategy I had programmed for me?

Thank you for the question.

This depends if the strategy is currently protected or not.

If you have the source code, you will be able to directly change the name, if you do not have the source code you would need to speak with the developer.

The instructions to change the name are below, this is assuming your file is not protected.

Click Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Strategy
Select the strategy by its name and press Open.
Right click in the window and click Save As.
Give the file a name and press OK.
After doing this, right click in the window and click Compile.

As long as no errors are listed you have duplicated the script and renamed it. If you do not want the old file with the old name, please do the following:

Click Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Strategy
Select the strategy by its name and press Delete.
