    Serialize indicator plot width

    I have and indicator in which I cannot save the plot widths in a template. Is there a way to set the plot width in code or to otherwise save the widths as part of a template?

    Add(new Plot(Color.FromKnownColor(KnownColor.Cyan), PlotStyle.Dot, "UpperBlue"));

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Hank_R,

    Thank you for your note.

    Yes, you can set a new Pen object for the Plot as below -
    Code:
    Add( new Plot(new Pen(Color.Cyan, 3), PlotStyle.Dot, "UpperBlue"));
    The 3 is the width that you would set for this plot

    Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

      That seems to work but is there anyway to set the width smaller than 1? From the chart panel I can set the widths as decimal values but the parameters for Pen the width is defined as an int. It is very frustrating to go to each chart and reset 5 parameters every morning.

      Thanks

        Hank,

        The width settings is based on pixels. You can't have less than a pixel.

        While you maybe settings this as double/decimal values they are being adjusted to an Int value.

          I got it. It is necessary to format the parameter as a float explicitly.

          Add( new Plot(new Pen(Color.Cyan, 0.1F)

          Thanks.
