Exported LogFile's are very different form different users

Hi,

I'm working on parsing the log files of NinjaTrader. Now something odd is happening, the logfiles seems to differ a lot within the same version of NinjaTrader? Can anybody please shed a light on this please?

LOG 1 This is one log file I have received from a client:
1-2-2015 15:37:47|1|4|Verifying license at primary server...
1-2-2015 15:37:49|2|4|Session Break (Version 7.0.1000.26)

LOG 2 And another also saved logfile looks like this:
Date,Category,Message,
1/26/2015 12:46:32 PM,Strategy,Cancelling any remaining strategy orders,
1/26/2015 12:46:32 PM,Position,Instrument='FDAX 09-14' Account='Replay101' Avg price=9545 Quantity=0 Market position=Long Operation=Remove Currency=Unknown,
....
1/26/2015 9:23:20 AM,Default,Session Break (Version 7.0.1000.26),

Both LOG files are from the same Ninja version however LOG1 is time sorted oldest on top and LOG2 is sorted Newest on top. Also the field is separated differently.

How can I make sure these logs that are saved as CVS are "consistant" and not every log that is send out is completely different ?
Hope some one can help me out on this.

Hello Wessel,

Thank you for your post.

It appears that Log 2 has been produced by right clicking on the Log tab of the Control Center and select Grid > Export To Excel, and then either made into a text document or sent to you as an Excel file.

I was able to reproduce that log format with your info.
