How could we retrieve a "protected code" ?

Hi everybody,

I have a friend who downloaded an indicator. This indic can't be exported, we can't modify it too. We only see it in the indicator box when choosing one from a chart.

Someone know how could we retrieve the code ?

Thank you for the question.

This sounds like it is a protected assembly or .dll file. In general these files would not show up in the export window or allow you to view or edit the code because the author chose to protect their work.

If the file is protected in dll format there is no way to retrieve the code without asking the author to allow you access to their source code.
