Way to display the indicator/strategy a message is coming from?
I'm coding a strategy that calls several custom indicators. In order to debug I'm putting "Print" statements from the custom indicators and strategy code to know where/what is being executed. I'd like to print out the indicator/strategy from where the print statements are coming from in the output window (e.g. CustomIndicator1 message 1, CustomIndicator2 message 2, Strategy1 message 1, Strategy 2, message 2, etc.). Is the indicator/strategy name saved in any variable so I don't need to hardcode through out the code (as in Instrument.FullName for example)? Basic question, but I couldn't find a way to do this.Tags: None
