semi auto entry

Hi,
Does anyone know how to through the Wizard, how to create an auto strategy when enable that it will execute an entry based on how many ticks from present market? So if a condition meets, then I would enable the strategy to enter the trade like 5 ticks below current market price?

Thank you for your note.

The Automated NinjaScript Strategies are designed to calculate the conditions and place the orders themselves. Are you looking to watch for the condition your self and just enable the strategy that will place the order immediately?

yes, I be watching the market when condition meet then I enable the strategy to take the auto entry.

I guess I just can't create a strategy based soley on price entry? So i be the one watching the conditions and when it meets, then the auto entry would be based on current market price and would enter certain number of ticks below the current price.

You can definitely do this, but it would need to be manually programmed this way and would not be possible with the Wizard.

The reason for this is that, if you are looking for just price action then you would need to ignore the historical data, so that it does not take historical trades. This would allow the strategy to start running and place trades almost instantly when enabled.
