Extract ParabolicSAR Values

Can someone post the code or advise how to extract for use in another indicator the last ParabolicSAR plot value before it reversed, no matter how many bars since it reversed?

Hi ScorpioTravis,

This would require custom code and making modifications to the ParabolicSAR indicator. You will need to make a copy of the ParabolicSAR.

There is a Reverse() function. If you add code to this Reverse() function you can save the bar number of that last reversal. Then you will want to find the price of the SAR just before that reversal is triggered.

You can make a public double to set this value to which can be accessed from your indicator.

I think I did it differently than you suggested (I didn't expose the value, I used it inside the copy of ParabolicSAR), but it worked. The ParabolicSAR contains a reverseBar value from which I calculated the bars ago that the reversal occurred (as you suggested). Then I used Set() to save the value as a data series to which I applied indexing to get the desired bars ago value.
