using ExitLongStop

For backtesting purposes. Im looking to set a stop at the entry price once the position has moved > .5 into profit. Do I have something incorrect below? Its stopping out way above the entry price.

Hi Delta007,

Thanks for your post.

I recommend you add TraceOrders = true; to the Intialize() part of the script so we can see what price the order is being set to.

Also print the values of ("Closes[1][0]: "+Closes[1][0]+" > "+(Position.AvgPrice + .5)) so we can see what is triggering the condition.

The prints will go to the Output window. (Tools -> Output Window...)

Is the order filling at the top or bottom of the bar?

Is the backtest in the Strategy Analyzer? (If so, what fill type are you using?)
