    Index location of 2 same double in array

    I am using an array to store levels,

    pivots[6] = r3; // Puts Pivots into array
    pivots[5] = r2;
    pivots[4] = r1;
    pivots[3] = pp;
    pivots[2] = s1;
    pivots[1] = s2;
    pivots[0] = s3;
    pivots[7] = Close[0];

    I am then sorting the array,

    Array.Sort (pivots); // Sorts Array from low to high

    If Close[0] is the same a any of the other values in the array will it be added to the index location above or below the index location of the same value?

    GKonheiser, I would not think you can rely on the sequence in your example, since from MSDN 'This method uses the QuickSort algorithm. This implementation performs an unstable sort; that is, if two elements are equal, their order might not be preserved.'
