Commissions in Backtesting.

Hello, I am new to Ninjatrader and am still learning how to use it. I want to include commission amounts in my backtesting. I am using a CGQ data feed. I added the commissions in the proper place for futures contracts. I also set the commissions to true in the backtesting panel. Still, when I run results, I am not showing any commissions being included in the performance window. I may be missing something obvious, but I could use some help.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forum!

Please go to Tools > Options > General > enable the option 'Apply commission to PnL calculations' > OK. Then run your backtest again.

Sorry for not responding sooner. I have marked that in the option settings, but I am still not showing commissions in my back tests. Not sure what is going on. Thanks.

Have you setup commissions for the the Simulator feed?

Koganam is correct, the commissions would need to be set for the Simulator for backtesting under Tools --> Options --> Commissions.

Okay, I put the commissions in the simulator tab and it's working now. Thanks for the help.
