Midpoint charts?

Hello,

i am using MBTrading for Forex. Is it somehow possible, to produce charts based on the bid/ask midpoint price instead of the bid-price - possibly with a custom bartype? If yes, i would appreciate links to sample code, any other hints welcome too.

Thank you for your post.

Yes, this is possible but not with a custom bar type but rather a custom indicator.

This will allow you to get the Bid and Ask prices and then you calculate the midpoints for them and then have them plot on the chart via the Plot Method in the code.

You can look at the source code for the Heiken Ashi indicator in NT7 to see how this is done.
Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator -> Heiken Ashi
