multiple instruments in indicator

I am planning to write an indicator that will pull information from another instrument to determine correlation. Before I start working on it, I will need to educate myself about how to do this. I just want to make sure that I will be looking through the correct resource.

Yes, this is the best starting point for multiple instruments in the same script.

This will allow you add a behind the scenes data series and be able to pull information from that data series for calculations.
