Co-managing orders when autotrading

The chart trader offers a neat way to change and modify orders using "order lines" that can be dragged into place.

Can these techniques be used with automated strategies? That is, to co-manage orders with the automated strategy?

Thank you for your post.

You would not be able to co-manage your orders the way you would like to. The strategy will follow its own logic and will not know when you have adjusted the orders outside of the script.

Say you changed an order's price lower to get filled sooner. If on the next OnBarUpdate the order is not filled it will change it back to the original value in the code that you had submitted the order at.
