Protecting and distributing custom bar types

I have some custom bar types I would like to share, but in a form where the open source code is not visible.

The bar types reside in the -/NinjaTrader 7/bin/Custom/Type/ folder.

What is the correct mechanism for protecting/compiling and distributing them?

Thank you for your post.

You would need to export the source code as a DLL and secure with an outside source. NinjaTrader uses CLI Secure for exporting DLL's however you would not be able to export your BarType as this is not possible nor supported with NinjaTrader.
