Chart Helper Dialog Box

I would like to write a script that shows a custom dialog box (windows form) while the chart is shown. I want it to have a control (checkbox/button/TBD) that will toggle a specific indicator with specific settings on and off and then rebuild the chart without closing the dialog.

I think I remember reading a post a while back where someone was trying to have a windows form open to do something to a chart but I can't seem to find it. Can you please provide some guidance as to how I might do this or point me toward some other posts that are trying to do similar things.

The action that the dialog box would perform is not important just that it's there and that it can rebuild the chart while keeping the dialog open.
