Wizard BarsAgo problem

hi
I`m new at Ninjascript and trying to develope an Ichimoku based strategy by using the wizard.

My problem is that I can`t compare the actual price value and the value generated 26 bars ago by the ichimoku indicator. I`ve seen the "bars ago" option in the indicator, but when i modify that value the strategy stops working. After finishing the wizard correctly I run it on the chart, set the enabled value to true and it automatically turns false.

Any tip?

Do you see any errors inside of your Log tab inside of your NinjaTrader Control Center?

My guess is that you are trying to access a bar that does not exist yet since you are trying to get a value 26 bars ago.

thanks for your quick answer.
I checked the log and you were right, I was trying to get data from a bar no longer existing.
The limit for "barsAgo" is actually 20. I`ve noticed that there`s a parameter in al strategies named "Min Bars Required".

Are those parameters related? If so, how can I modify this parameters?

Is there any other way to increase this 20 limit'

Hello Altarok,

Yes, you may want to change the "Min bars required" in your Strategy Parameters to 26 since you need at least 26 bars for NinjaTrader to access and try to enable your Strategy again.
