TrueRange in Dollar terms?

How do I calculate TrueRange in Dollar terms?

The compiler hernias in various ways when I attempt something like the following:

DollarVol = ATR(period) * Instrument.MasterInstrument.PointValue;

Hello Aspirant,

You will want to get the value of the ATR indicator by using the bracket method by adding the [barsAgo]. For example:

DollarVol = ATR(5)[0] * Instrument.MasterInstrument.PointValue;

If you are still getting an error message could you please let us know what message you are getting after changing the code.
