Is it possible to erase a new thread that has just been posted? I submitted a programming question here and then remembered where to get the answer. I couldn't delete the post so am now leaving this instead.

Not that I'm aware of. Edit is your only option add you have found.

Correct, only edit would be an option. No worries on the thread and glad you could already find a solution then.

You can delete a post, but you cannot delete a thread, as you are not an Administrator for the board.
